This website is the official source for researching the early Vissers settling in South Africa and their descendants from 1658 onwards.
Our aim is research and add records along with supporting documents for every individual found inside this project. This allows us to conduct more comprehensive and correct research and provide users with better verified information.
We will also gather and publish previous research conducted on the Visser families of South Africa. These older records, although not all always correct, do provide researchers today with comprehensive guidelines as to where research started before and how it changed today with new access to sources like the FamilySearch project, Ancestry and GenDatabase.com.
Our mission is to compile a comprehensive and complete Family Tree for the Visser lines in South Africa to date.
